The Borel Middle School staff will hold itself accountable to high levels of achievement for all students as determined by state, national and International Baccalaureate standards.  We will strive to develop the whole child, helping students to grow intellectually, socially, ethically and culturally.  Borel Middle School is committed to meeting the unique academic and social needs of a diverse student body through a comprehensive system of instruction and support in a nurturing, caring and safe environment.



The contest runs from February 10th-March 4th

 Students who sell the most tickets WIN:


1st Place- iPad mini 4

2nd Place- Xbox one

3rd Place- GoPro Camera

4thPlace - $100 Visa Gift Card


Winners will be announced at school on Monday, March 7th


  • Each student will receive 3 books of tickets with 5 tickets
  • in each book
  • Prices are printed on the tickets - $5 each or 5 for $20
  • Cash or checks accepted - Please make checks payable to “Borel
  • PTA” 
  • Purchaser prints their information on the stub and gives
  • it back to the student with the money 
  • Turn-in dates each Friday:  Feb 19th, Feb 26th & March 4th
  • (at lunch)
  • Students who sell most tickets by 2/19 & 2/26 turn-in dates  win special prizes!
  • Students - Be sure to put your name and homeroom on the manila
  • envelope provided in order to receive credit for your sales!
  • All money and stubs are due by Friday, March 4th

This fundraiser will benefit EVERY student, so we encourage 100% participation! 


If your child does not wish to participate, please return the packet to the office immediately so the tickets can be given to another student.

Don't miss Borel's Annual TableArt Luncheon on Sunday, March 6th!  Enjoy a lovely sit-down lunch, a sneak-peek performance by our upcoming Footloose Musical cast, a fashion show featuring Borel students, and an opportunity to shop from local vendors selling jewelry, stationery, and more. The library becomes a backdrop for at least 15 beautifully decorated tables. Each theme is created and designed by Borel's own talent including parents, staff and students.

Every year at Founders’ Day we recognize parents or community members who have made meaningful contributions to Borel.  Ideal candidates will have chaired and/or volunteered for major events, projects, or committees as well as individuals who have served Borel students by working on multiple committees, often in “behind-the-scenes” roles.  Please email your nomination(s) to hsanominations2016@gmail.com by Monday, February 8th.
